Welcome to The Art Lab for Kids ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, our in-studio programs and classes, our birthday parties, and our SMS text messaging program. By using our website, enrolling a child in a program, booking a party, or opting in to our text messages, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

The Art Lab for Kids is a children's art studio offering after-school programs, homeschool classes, track-out camps, open studio sessions, teen programming, specialty workshops, and birthday parties. Program details, schedules, and pricing may change, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled families of material changes.

Enrollment in a class, camp, or program requires a completed registration form and payment as stated at the time of sign-up.

A parent or legal guardian must complete registration and accept these Terms on behalf of any child enrolled.

Tuition, supply fees, and party deposits are due as stated at the time of booking.

Parents or guardians are responsible for their child's safety while on studio premises, except during supervised class time as stated in our program guidelines.

Please arrive on time for pick-up and inform us of any authorized pick-up changes in advance.

Children must follow studio rules and staff instructions. We reserve the right to dismiss a participant whose behavior poses a risk to others or to property, without refund in cases of serious misconduct.

Allergy and medical information must be disclosed at registration. The Art Lab for Kids uses a variety of art materials, and parents are responsible for informing us of any known allergies or sensitivities.

4. Photos and Media

By enrolling, you agree to the photo and video consent options selected on your registration form, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us in writing.

All content on our website and in our marketing materials, including our name, logo, curriculum, lesson plans, program names, and branding, is owned by The Art Lab for Kids or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our materials without our written permission. Artwork created by children during our programs belongs to the child and their family, and we may display it as described in Section 4.

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to interfere with the website's operation, access accounts or data that do not belong to you, or use the website to transmit harmful code or content.

The Art Lab for Kids offers an SMS text messaging program that sends two types of messages to customers who opt in:

Transactional messages related to your account or services, such as class and camp reminders, schedule changes, appointment and party confirmations, registration and payment notices, and pick-up updates.

Promotional messages about the studio, such as sales, discounts, special offers, new class and camp announcements, and birthday party specials.

7.2 Opt-In

By providing your mobile number and opting in on our registration form, website, or by texting us a keyword, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from The Art Lab for Kids at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase or enrollment. You may opt in or out at any time.

7.3 Required Disclosures

Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on your enrollment, bookings, and studio promotions.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to messages you send and receive.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7.4 How to Opt Out

To stop receiving text messages from us at any time, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts will be sent unless you opt in again. You may also contact us using the information in Section 12 to request removal.

7.5 How to Get Help

For assistance, reply HELP to any message, or contact us using the information in Section 12. Help is available by phone and email during studio business hours.

7.6 Supported Carriers and Eligibility

Our SMS program is available on major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You must be the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide, and you must be at least 18 years old to opt in on behalf of a child.

7.7 Privacy

We respect your privacy. We will not sell or share your mobile number or opt-in information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Information about how we handle text message data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Our website and services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of website content or program information.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Art Lab for Kids and its owners, staff, and instructors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, programs, or SMS program. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under North Carolina law.

You agree to hold The Art Lab for Kids harmless from claims arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of our services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For SMS, you may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina.
